At UK Voices, we always preach that you need to keep your voice in the best possible shape because you never know when that voiceover role that you covet will come calling. So to help you keep that voice in shape, we’ve gone out and sampled some of the market’s best vocal sprays, and come back with a review of what we believe is the best one out there. So allow us to introduce, the Clear Original Vocal Throat Spray.
The spray markets itself on being made up of an all-natural blend of herbs, the main two being Tylophora and Osha Root which have long been used by voice artists to keep their voices strong. The spray is available in two different flavours, Original and Honey Lemon. We decided to try the Original and are pleased to say, it doesn’t taste too bad. It certainly wouldn’t be anyone’s drink of choice on a night out, but as far as vocal sprays go, it isn’t bad!
The main question is, of course, does it work? The answer is, quite simply, yes! We’ve sampled the spray on a number of occasions, and each time have noticed that tired and cracking voices are returned to near enough full strength. The effects of the spray don’t wear off instantly either, voices remain strong for a good few hours before starting to falter again. The price is very respectable, only £8.99 plus £2.40 shipping from Amazon, and the 30cl bottle will get you 80 sprays, which will take you a long time to whittle down, so you get more than enough bang for your buck.
So this is definitely a product we’d recommend. We’ve tried nearly every voice spray out there and this would be our personal recommendation. It’s fairly priced, effective, and won’t just run out after one day. So if you’re serious about keeping your voice in good shape, we’d recommend buying one and giving it a try!
